YOUR PLAY, EXPLAINED
Privacy & cookies
WiggyGames stores a small amount of information to make its game catalogue work. This page describes the current implementation.
Favourites and recently played
Your favourites and recently played game IDs are stored in this browser's local storage. Recently played titles, thumbnails and public card details are also saved so you can return to a game quickly. Hidden game IDs are also stored locally so those games stay out of discovery. They are not synced to an account. The Play again card uses this history; it does not identify your device across browsers or copy a game's score. Clear recently played or restore hidden games from Your game room, or clear site data in your browser to remove all these choices.
Popularity counts
When you press play, the site creates a random browser-session ID. The server stores a one-way hash of this ID with the game ID and UTC date when activity tracking is available to count one unique launch per game per session per day. This records a play-click, not your gameplay, score or time spent. No advertising analytics service has been added to the portal itself.
Game providers and advertisements
Game thumbnails load from provider servers while you browse. On supported desktop browsers, hovering over a tile can load a muted gameplay video from GameMonetize's video service. Moving away stops the preview. Previews are disabled when reduced motion or the browser's data-saving preference is enabled. Pressing play, or selecting a game tile to play, loads an embedded game from the provider named on the page. A short-lived launch intent in session storage connects that tile click to the player page. Direct and shared game links show a Play button. Those requests disclose normal connection information, including your IP address, to the provider. Games and their ad partners may use cookies or browser storage and display their own consent choices. Their policies govern those services.

Reports and hosting
A game report stores the game ID, selected issue and time. Repeated reports from the same browser session on the same day are combined. The hosting service may process technical request logs and authentication data. A private development publication also requires the hosting platform's sign-in; this is separate from the game's own features.
Managing your data
Clear this site's browser storage to remove saved games and session information. Use a game's own controls for provider-held progress and preferences. Avoid entering personal details into a third-party game unless you have reviewed its policies.
